Khada, in Afghanistan, is a secret believer. A close friend privately handed a Bible to Khada one day. She was a strict Muslim but, curious, she and her husband started to read God’s word.

“We chose the path of Christ,” said Khada.



But Khada’s decision to follow Jesus came with a cost… the highest you could imagine. After all, if you leave Islam and you are found out, you will suffer.

Khada’s beloved husband was killed. Tortured and murdered because of his faith.

Now Khada needs help to survive. As a widow, she can’t work, and needs practical support. As a secret believer, she depends on your love and prayers. Khada needs to know she’s not alone.

We cannot abandon our brothers and sisters risking everything to follow Jesus.

“In the Taliban regime we face challenges,” said Khada. “But with strong faith, we persevere. With hope, we continue this journey. I continue to be a servant of Christ.”
